The practice operates a ‘mixed economy’ of booked and open surgeries, enabling greater access for patients.
Morning surgeries are open access from 8.45 - 10.30 am but all afternoon surgeries, nursing and clinic consultations are by appointment only.
We request that whenever possible, patients arrive at least 15 minutes before the close of open surgery.
HOWEVER PLEASE NOTE: If you arrive at morning open surgery after 10.00am then you may not be able to see the doctor of your choice; you will be allocated a doctor by the receptionist
All pre-bookable appointments can be made over the phone, at the Reception desk or online using My Health online (MHOL)
If you have an acute medical problem and there are no appointments available, inform the person you are speaking to and they will arrange for your condition to be triaged by a Doctor who can either give you advice over the phone or arrange for you to be seen as an extra after surgery has finished. All patients under 16 years of age with an acute illness will be offered a same day appointment.
Patients are able to access a receptionist at the practice via the telephone during the hours of 8.00am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday and are able to speak to a GP or nurse on the telephone between the hours stated in the table below. If a GP or nurse is unavailable to speak to you immediately, a message will be taken and you will be contacted by a GP or nurse as soon as they become available.
If you make an appointment with a clinician at the practice and find you are unable to keep the appointment, we request that you contact the surgery as soon as possible to cancel and re-arrange your appointment if necessary.
